Scholarship Competition Details
Registration
To fill out this registration, you will need to know:
- What division you are entering (Junior, Intermediate, or Senior)
- Your music selection(s): name, composer, length, grade level, and page number in syllabus (see regulations for more detail).
Registration includes a $50 fee.
In the registration form you will indicate your payment method. (Payment deadline is the same date as the registration deadline).
Options for payment method are:
- E-transfer: Send to wyo-adm@winnipegyouthorchestras.ca.

Participants receive their awards at the end of the WYO season, typically in a presentation during the Sounds of Spring concert.
Performance Opportunity for Scholarship Competition Winners
Senior Orchestra winners will have the exciting opportunity to perform their solo work with the Winnipeg Youth Orchestra, and Junior and Intermediate winners will be featured Young Artists at a Manitoba Chamber Orchestra concert in February, performing a work in a pre-concert program at the Crescent Arts Centre.
These exciting performance opportunities are made possible through the support of Winnipeg Youth Orchestras (WYO), the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra (MCO), and a grant from the Kuhl Foundation.
